Purpose

Bring the Northside Grocer and Pippa's Kitchen retail experiences together into one modern Shopify store, without losing the search visibility Pippa's Kitchen has built up.

Objectives

  • One retail storefront for Northside Grocer, replacing the split Northside / Pippa experience.
  • Protect Pippa's Kitchen organic search value through a controlled, redirect-led migration.
  • Make weekly ordering simpler for customers on mobile.
  • Keep NDIS and Supported at Home customers operating on Cookaborough, untouched.
  • Hand over a store the Northside team can confidently run day to day.

In scope

  • Shopify store design and build
  • Retail product & customer data preparation
  • Pippa → Northside SEO migration and 301 redirects
  • Shipping, tax and postcode configuration
  • Six weeks of post-launch SEO monitoring
  • Handover walkthrough

Out of scope

  • NDIS / Supported at Home ordering (remains on Cookaborough)
  • Ongoing monthly SEO retainer beyond the watch period
  • Large CRM or ERP implementation
  • Automatic inventory sync unless separately confirmed
  • New brand identity / logo design

Success measures

How we'll know it worked

Launch in the agreed December Christmas-menu window after approval

No broken redirects and no unexpected 404s at launch

Organic traffic and key rankings held or recovered within month one

Successful end-to-end test orders across desktop and mobile

What could slow us down, and the plan

Every project has a few. Here's how each one gets handled before it becomes a problem.

RiskImpactOur response
SEO data availabilityMediumBuddy continues design and migration planning while following up on existing reports and a current URL export.
Feedback cycles run longer than plannedHighConsolidated feedback in one pass per review; dates shift transparently in this portal.
Cookaborough data export limitationsMediumJoint decision item — fallback is a manual product/customer preparation pass.
Shopify URL pattern constraintsLowRedirect map is designed around Shopify's fixed /products/ and /collections/ patterns.
Content or photography not readyMediumPlaceholder-safe design system so build can continue while content lands.

Governance

  • Weekly written update in this portal
  • One review session per design milestone
  • Consolidated feedback from Northside (one voice per review)
